Hosts of the Austrian camp in Bad Tatzmannsdorf say everything will be ready for the arrival of the Croatian squad.
The pitch, worth several millions of euro, is still not ready, but the hosts hope everything will be as it should in a month.
Hosts at the Austrian Bad Tatzmannsdorf, the future camp of the Croatian football team during the upcoming European Championship, are exceptionally trying hard to finish everything for the arrival of the team. However, with certain things in mind, there is plenty of work to be done here, especially when it comes to the pitch as the grass has not yet grown.
The hotel director Peter Pirsching convinces everyone present that there is no reason for concern and that the entire surface will be covered with quality grass in four weeks` time, perhaps the even the best grass.
- Experts from Austria and Croatia came here and took samples from the grass roots. The results are excellent and they are positive the grass will be perfect once the Croatian teams arrives. We have already prepared a grass rug, but then we were told it would not be necessary. This is Ferrari among grass – Pirsching proudly said.
The press centre was also presented, which seats 120 reporters. The Croatian players and their expert team will be presented at the main Haydenplatz Square on June 3.
