Croatia’s tennis player Ivan Dodig managed to qualify for the quarterfinals of the PBZ Indoors tournament after winning a match against Latvia’s Ernest Gulbis with a result of 7:6, 6:4. With this victory, Dodig continued his excellent playing after he already won a match against Igor Andreev.
Dodig took away the Latvian player’s serve. Gulbis made a lot of mistakes, including six double mises in serves, which made Ivan’s job easy.
The young Croatian tennis player thus qualified for the quarterfinals in which he will play against the winner in the match between Ancic and Gabashvili. If Croatia’s Ancic wins against the Russian, two Croatians will play against each other in the quarterfinals.
