Croatia’s Antonio Veic continued with his great performance at the PBZ Indoors tennis tournament. After he surprisingly defeated Guillermo Canas, now he managed to crush Russia’s Evgeny Korolev after more than two and a half hours.
Korolev did not use three break points in the 10th game of the third set
The Croatian tennis player lost the first set 6:3 and began his second set in much better form. After taking the lead of 4:2, he lost his serve and things got complicated. He won the second set only in a tie-break and won 7:6.
He won the third set with a result of 6:4. In the exhausting match, Veic had four aces, while Korolev had seven. Both tennis players had an average percentage of their first serves. The Croatian had 57 percent and Korolev 51 percent.
