With a goal from seven metres, Csaszar Gabor, scored the winning points for Hngary in the match against South Korea.

A group of some 50 Hungarian fans were rather loud at the handball match between Hungary and South Korea which ended in a victory over South Korea in the final round of the second part of the World Handball Championship held in Zagreb.

The Hungarians scored first, again with a goal from Csaszar Gabor, who used a penalty opportunity after Gal was knocked down on the six-metre line. This was also the only lead the Hungarians had in the first half-time because after eight minutes into the game, the South Koreans took matters into their own hands and took the lead 14:11. In the first half, Jaewoo Lee was unstoppable, scoring seven goals.Mario Ćužić-.--.-

In the ninth minute of the second half-time, Laslo Nagy scored to even the score at 17:17. The Hungarian players again evened the score in the 15th minute to 20:20, but Taewan Kim restored advantage to Korea. The game was interesting to the very end because the Hungarians only achieved a lead six minutes before the end of the match. But their lead did not last for long and in the 56th minute Korea scored for 27:26.
