Popular singer and actress Jesisca Simpson was accused by the Dallas Cowboys of being a bad influence on their quarterback.

The controversial Dallas Cowboys’ Terrel Owens told Jessica Simpson to stay away from their quarterback Tony Romo.

The Cowboys star and the actress have been dating for some time. She attended a game the Cowboys played against the Philadelphia Eagles in a Dallas jersey with a pink number nine, the number Tony has.

She proudly posed for cameras sitting in the VIP suite and cheering Tony on. The game ended with a score of 10-6 for Philadelphia and Romo played the worst game of his career. Romo’s terrible performance immediately caused reactions that Jessica Simpson was to blame.

The first to talk was Terrel Owens.

- Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite — in this locker room or in Texas Stadium – Owens said.

- With everything that has happened, obviously with the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away. Other than that, she was high on my list until last week – said Owens.

- Oh, I got a message for her when we make the playoffs. Just stay tuned – he added.

Owens later said that he was only kidding because he saw that his jokes were entertaining his fellow players. But there has to be some truth in the story, since it is well known that American athletes are very superstitious and use all kinds of normal and abnormal methods so as not to get on the bad side of Lady Luck.

There is even a term to describe the people who bring bad luck – jinx.

So, Jessica “The Jinx” Simpson better not come to any more Cowboys games because this season everybody in Dallas believes that they have a team that can make it to the finals and they do not want to blow the opportunity just because their quarterback is shy of playing well in front of a blonde beauty.
