Finnish skier Tanja Poutiainen won the giant slalom in Zwiesel. Ana Jelusic did not qualify for the second leg.
This is Tanja Poutiainen's first victory this season, The skier had struggled for a long time, trying to find the right form. Julia Mancuso, who had the best result in the first leg, finished the race in the fifth place. Nicole Hosp finished second and took the overall lead, followed by Mancuso, who is 19 points behind. Schild is in the third place, 61 points behind. Slalom in Zwiesel is scheduled for Sunday and I have great expectations from our Ana Jelusic, who did not qualify for the second leg.
