Sharapova Still The World’s Top Tennis Player

After the tournament in Dubai and Acapulco there have been two changes in the top ten.

The Russian Svetlana Kuznjecova replaced the Belgian Kim Clisters on fourth place, whilst the Serbian Jelena Jankovic jumped ahead of the Czech Nicol Vaidisova to get to 9^th place. Croatia’s tennis players are slowly climbing up the ladder - Jelena Kostanic-Tosic jumped two places and is now 97^th, Karolina Sprem is 109^th, Ivana Lisjak is 135^th, whilst Javno.hr’s columnist Ivana Abramovic improved her ranking and is now at the 184^th position. The Women’s tennis players from Wednesday to next Sunday are at a tournament in Indian Wells.
