Football fans throughout the world are requesting a ban for the Birmingham player.
Eduardo da Silva`s injury, caused by Martin Taylor`s savage tackle, made many Arsenal fans, fans of the Croatian football squad and all fans of the beautiful game to start a large number of internet forums to support Dudu in most cases or request that the Birmingham defence player who left the beautiful game devoid of an amazing player, to be banned from playing.
Fans` angry at Taylor
Apart from posts that deal with Eduardo, there are many of those created due to Martin Taylor, not to offer their support but to attack him for such a stupid and reckless move. Death threats are frequent as well.
Great disappointment in Taylor`s move drove fans to launch an attack on the 28-year-old Englishman. Everyone got involved, from football experts who condemn such fateful tackles, fans of the beautiful game who claim there is no room for a butcher like Taylor in football, to the media which condemn Taylor on their covers. Although most of them believe he did not intentionally want to injure Eduardo, nobody can forgive him for what he did. When someone receives death threats, even if they are on a forum, it is the best example of what sort of damage they have caused. Numerous petitions are being signed that will be sent to the English Football Association and FIFA, requesting a lifetime ban of playing football for Eduardo`s executioner.
Rehabilitation in Zagreb
While Taylor is condemned in the papers, Eduardo is concentrating on his rehabilitation which could be done in Zagreb, according to some sources from his hospital room. Eduardo himself said that he might move to Zagreb in a few weeks, where he would complete his recovery. Dudu is supposed to be released from the hospital in two days` time, Dnevnik.hr writes, but Arsenal needs to give the green light for his return to the Croatian capital. Although the initial rehabilitation plan includes keeping still at all times, which is what Dudu can do in Croatia, we will see if Arsenal doctors are ready to hand Eduardo over. He means too much to the club to just let him go. They surely want to keep an eye on him, but Dudu still might return to where he began his football ascent.
