Ten-man Malaga missed a chance to move up two places to fourth when they lost 2-0 at home to Recreativo Huelva in the Primera Liga on Sunday.

Defender Lolo was shown a straight red card just after the half hour when he caught Jesus Vazquez with his arm and Recre's Javier Camunas found the bottom left corner with a sharp drive 10 minutes into the second half.

Midfielder Adrian Colunga sealed the win 10 minutes later, taking the ball round goalkeeper Inaki Goitia and sidefooting into the net to move Recre up to 13th.

Juan Rodriguez scored with 15 minutes left to give Deportivo Coruna a 1-0 win over bottom club Numancia and move the Galicians above Atletico Madrid into seventh.

Osasuna extended their unbeaten run to six when they came back from a goal down to draw 1-1 at Racing Santander and Alvaro Negredo scored twice as Almeria came from a goal down to beat visiting Getafe 2-1.

Leaders Barcelona play at Atletico later on Sunday (1800 GMT) after Real Madrid whittled their advantage down to four points with Saturday's 2-0 win at struggling Espanyol.

Guti and Raul scored second-half goals to secure the champions' 10th consecutive league win, while Frederic Kanoute struck twice to help third-placed Sevilla to a 2-1 comeback win at Athletic Bilbao.
