Tottenham Pays Record Amount for Darren Bent

Premiership club Tottenham has brought in attacker Darren Bent (23).

Bent has scored 37 goals in the past two seasons, playing for Charlton.

Tottenham has paid 33 million dollars for Bent, which is a record for Tottenham, English media reported today.

Arrival of Darren Bent has increased the competition in Tottenham`s attacking line. Bent`s competitors are Dimitar Berbatov, Jermain Defoe, Robbie Keane and Mido.
