Mexico forward Giovani Dos Santos is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a serious ankle injury.
Soccer - Mexico forward Giovani Dos Santos is set for a spell on the sidelines after suffering a serious ankle injury in training with his Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, said manager Harry Redknapp.
"He picked up a nasty injury in training on Monday morning and he'll be out for a while. (Mexico coach) Sven-Goran Eriksson rang me a few days ago and asked how he was. We're not sure how long he'll be out for.
Mexico, who are top of their World Cup group, visit Honduras in their next qualifier on Nov 20.
Soccer - Former France manager Henri Michel has had talks with South African club Mamelodi Sundowns about taking over as their new coach, a club spokesman said.
The club have yet to take a decision on whether to replace the incumbent Trott Moloto after a run of poor results.
