We played the first quarter with stage fright, we were a bit scared of Serbia because they are excellent, Croatian water polo player said.
The Croatian water polo team beat Serbia in the second tournament of the water polo tournament with a score of 11:8.
- The victory was difficult, but deserved. We played the first quarter poorly, but later we played increasingly better from quarter to quarter. I would like to congratulate everybody in the team, especially Frane Vican. He defended excellently. That was the key to our victory – Andro Buslje, Croatia’s water polo player told Javno.
- We played the first quarter with stage fright, perhaps we were a bit scared of Serbia because they are excellent. We played the second and third quarters phenomenally, which is obvious by the result. We deserved to win – Andro concluded.
- We knew that this match was to decide on top spot and we won – he said.
