HOOLIGANISM IN ACTION?

VideoCan an unimportant match cause conflicts between Polish hooligans and so far peaceful Croatian football fans?
The battle between two football teams inevitably leads to a battle of two opposing groups of fans. Each of them cheering for their own team in the best possible way and everything is progressing without any problems as long as the cheering does not exceed the teams outdoing each other vocally and visually.
The match between Croatia and Poland is one of those that European experts have declared a game of high risk. Croatian fans and their ‘abilities’ are well-known across Europe. At this championship, Croatian fans have pleasantly surprised all those who were worried over possible incidents.
On the other hand, news about conflicts among fans within Polish borders are often covered by Croatian media, so Croatia was well informed about their hooliganism. Especially notorious are the fans of Warsaw’s Legia, whose conflicts with opposing teams’ fans often end with the use of chains, bats, brass knuckles and knives. There were even documented cases of axes being used.
In any case, although we are of the opinion that most people are planning to just have fun at these championships, we thought it would be prudent to put up a video in which Polish football fans present themselves to the world-wide public.
