The newly elected president of the United States of America Barack Obama is a sports fanatic, just like his predecessor George W. Bush. However, whilst the infamous president from Texas is a baseball fan, Obama is a great lover of basketball, and plays himself.
Here is the difference between him and Bush, who had to be a fan because he did not get into the university baseball team. Obama played great, and they even called him Bomber because he shot well.
He is specific because he is left handed, and they are always hard to guard 1 on 1.
In order to satisfy his sports urges, he will construct a small hall inside the Whitehouse and play basketball there. Of course, considering the problems in the country it is hard that he will find four minutes of time during his four years in office, but who knows.
Just to show that Obama is not one of those players that everybody lets win because of Obama’s position, take a look at the attached video. His ball skills are very good, he might no be as fast as in his youth, but it can be seen that basketball is not a foreign idea to him, and that he dedicated a lot of attention to it.
Considering that he is from Chicago, it is only natural that he is a fan of the Chicago Bulls, and his favourite player of all time is… Michael Jordan. It did not take long to guess that. However, Obama is not limited to only basketball, and is a strong fan of West Ham. Yes, yes, the American president likes football.
Bush also liked football, but got confused after the World Cup in Japan and Korea when he did not know that every goal brings only one point, and that there are no goals that bring multiple points.
Take a look at Obama handling the ball in the video, and pay attention to the result. Hope: Away 15:5. Guess who plays for the Hope team.
