Marshall`s circulation was shut off in his arms and legs. Amputation was the only option.
Marshall Janson from Great Britain is just one year old and doctors were forced to amputate both of his arms and legs, the DailyMail writes.
His mother Stephanie was happy to see the boy making such progress, and then something nobody could have expected happened. He had a high temperature and a bruise on his forehead. It was determined that he fell ill with meningitis and the situation only deteriorated. The body shut down Marshall’s circulation in arms and legs. Amputation was the only option.
- Before the illness struck he was a normal toddler. Now he just has to learn a new way of doing things, but I know he will manage with our help and love. I can't believe how well he is doing. He reaches for things and moves them with what he has. He is such a happy little boy – the boy`s mother told the DailyMail.
The boy still has to face more skin transplant surgery.
