WHITEHORSE, Yukon, Jan. 30 (UPI) -- The bodies of five people, including two children, were found in a home in Whitehorse, Yukon, police say.

No foul play was suspected in the deaths, discovered by a family friend Sunday morning, the National Post reported. The victims' names had not been released.

"Upon entry, police found a family of four, and a male boarder, all deceased," Royal Canadian Mounted Police Sgt. Don Rogers said.

"We don't want to speculate on the case of death right now."

Rogers said fire crews wore breathing apparatuses when they entered the home in case there was a natural gas or carbon monoxide leak, the newspaper said.

The coroner's office was to investigate the deaths.
