The Albanian PM fired Culture Minister Pango for telling female students to take their clothes off to prove they are ready for anything.
Ylli Pango, the Albanian Culture Minister, was fired after a private Albanian television channel, Top Channel, showed a report filmed with a hidden camera on which Minister Pango invited into his flat a group of students looking for work and then harassing them.
He asked the girls to take off their clothes to convince him that they are prepared to do anything for the job, local media reported.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha dismissed the corrupt 56-year-old minister.
- Pango cannot explain his position at the moment as long as he is performing his duty as minister – the Albanian government said in a statement.
Bot Pango denied all accusations and said the media had caused the entire incident.
Pango is a psychology professor and a member of the ruling Democratic Party. He has been minister since March 2007.
