Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic has been notified that Albanian terrorists are planning to assassinate him in Switzerland.
Ahead of his official visit to Switzerland, Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic is receiving death threats from Albanian terrorists, the Beogradske novosti daily reported.
The Swiss authorities assessed that Jeremic is indeed in danger and advised him to cancel his visit, which he refused. Switzerland is making sure that the security of the Serbian minister is at the highest possible level and even the army have been deployed.
Jeremic will be accompanied by seven bodyguards, contrary to the usual two agents.
The Serbian media believe that the attack on Jeremic continues to compromise him and his diplomatic activities because of his opposing to the formation of the Republic of Kosovo.
