Ferocious fighting across the Somali capital sparked by an Ethiopian military offensive against insurgents killed at least 11 civilians.
"Eleven people, mostly civilians, have been killed by stray bullets," the Shabelle network said on its Web site. "The Ethiopian forces, who are now facing strong resistance, continue to shell."
