The book called ‘Cuore di Donna’, or The Queen of Hearts, is written as series of extensive discussions in which Berlusconi tries to explain his relationship with Naples teenager, Naomi Letizia, and his alleged orgies with prostitutes.
In the book, written by the renowned Italian journalist, Bruno Vespa, Italian Prime Minister does not offer any excuses, notes the Milan newspaper Corriere della Sera, but suggests that everyone would act the same way in his place. Berlusconi compares his weakness for beautiful women and the personal pain caused by the burden of government, to those of rulers like Henry VIII and the French President, Nicolas Sarkozy.
Book responses have not been quite positive and the Roman newspaper La Repubblica describes it as incomplete, inaccurate and 175 days too late.
