Good neighbourly relations are important and Bosnia only has good relations with Montenegro, the Bosnian Presidency chairman said.
The chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Nebojsa Radmanovic, has called for the boosting of good neighbourly relations with Croatia and Serbia because, as he said, these were not satisfactory at this time.
- Good neighbourly relations are important for Bosnia-Herzegovina and it does not matter if they are to be called special liaisons or something else – Radmanovic said. His statement way relayed by Banja Luka’s Nezavisne novine daily on Wednesday. He also said in the statement that Bosnia has only good relations with Montenegro.
Commenting on the initiative by the president of Bosnia’s Party of Democratic Action, Sulejman Tihic, that Bosnia, as a country along with Croatia, should establish special relations with Serbia ad Montenegro, Radmanovic said that the two Bosnian entities have the power to establish special relations, but, he did not exclude such a possibility.
- The Dayton peace treaty envisages the Republika Srpska of the right to special and parallel relations with Serbia, as well as the Bosnian Federation with Croatia, but that does not function well fully – he stressed.
