Bosniak woman prostitutes her daughters in Rome

Bosniak woman who lives in Rome sold the bodies of her underaged daughters for €15. Girls never attended school or learned their own age.

Resident of nomadic settlement in Salone Street in Rome, the 48-year-old Bosnia and Herzegovina citizen, sold her two daughters aged 11 and 14 years to a 19-year-old pimp. In cooperation with him, she forced the girls into prostituting themselves in the streets of Rome for 15 euros.

The investigation ended with arrest of mother and her Bosnian neighbour. Investigation was led for eight months by Antonio Di Maggio, head of the Rome’s police department, writes Pincom.

He argues that agents obtained a warrant for control of the area that was otherwise known for illegal activities such as drug dealing, theft, falsification of documents and the like. The agents noticed that the mother and young girls leave the settlement every day, only to return early in the morning.

They never went to school

The young man, who is also a pimp, has been living in the village for the past five months and he is a legal resident who arrived from Turin. Police knows him for his earlier thefts and involvement with prostitution. Court has taken the children away from their mother and they are currently in the center for victims of violence.

Social workers say that the children are scared and that they have not spoken a word since their arrival. They do not their age, they never attended school and the only people they ever interacted with, were foreigners.
