Bush Says More Than 30 Killed in Campus Shooting

President George W. Bush said that Virginia Tech shooting rampage 'shocked and saddened' the nation.

More than 30 people were killed in the Virginia Tech shooting rampage on Monday that "shocked and saddened" the nation," President George W. Bush said.

He offered the administration's help in the aftermath of the attack.

"Schools should be places of safety and sanctuary and learning, when that sanctuary is violated the impact is felt in every American classroom and every American community," Bush said. "Today our nation grieves with those who have lost loved ones at Virginia Tech."
