A railway tunnel being built in central China has collapsed and trapped 12 people.
A railway tunnel under construction in central China collapsed on Sunday, trapping 12 workers, the Xinhua news agency reported.
The official agency said the rest of the 52 people working in the tunnel had been freed after the accident in Hubei province early in the day.
More than 150 rescuers were searching for those still trapped, the report said.
"According to rescue officials, they have got into contact with the trapped workers in the tunnel and they are now in stable condition with no imminent danger to life," it added.
