Chinese Woman Pregnant For 60 Years

She did not have the money to have the dead child removed from her uterus 60 years ago, and she continued with a normal life.

Chinese woman Huang Yijun (92) has been pregnant for 60 years. Stunned doctors discovered this astonishing case when the woman came to a hospital complaining about abdominal pain, The Sun writes.

She became pregnant in 1948, but the child died in her womb. Doctors requested money from her at the time, to remove the embryo, but Yijun could not afford the procedure. She said the amount they demanded was huge, because of which she went home.

The doctor who examined her set her diagnosis and was in disbelief.

- I couldn’t believe my eyes when I discovered she had a baby in her belly. I’ve been a doctor for more than 40 years and it’s the first time I have seen something like this - doctor Liu Anbin said.

The doctors are now performing a line of tests to determine if they can remove the foetus, which should have decayed and threatened the mother`s life, but it did not.
