Congo's largest opposition party allied to ex-warlord Jean-Pierre Bemba said on Wednesday its deputies were returning to parliament after walking out this month to demand government guarantees for their safety.

Thomas Luhaka, National Executive Secretary of Bemba's Movement for the Liberation of Congo (MLC) said the decision to end the party's boycott of the National Assembly followed an agreement by President Joseph Kabila to hear their grievances.
