SARAJEVO, Oct 1 (Hina) - Croatia and Germany remained top trading partners of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the first eight months of 2012, the Bosnian state statistical office reported on Monday.
Bosnia's imports totalled approximately EUR 5.1 billion in the January-August period, while its exports were EUR 2.65 billion, which means that the import-export ratio was 51.7%.
Bosnia's imports from Croatia came to approximately EUR 740 million, or 0.3 % down from the corresponding period in 2011. The imports from Croatia to Bosnia accounted for 14.5% of total imports to that country.
Bosnia imported goods and services in the amount of EUR 584 million from Germany, down 8.4% year on year.
In the first eight months of 2011, Bosnia's exports to Croatia went down by 4.1 % to EUR 406 million, and its exports to Germany went down by 0.3% to EUR 413 million.
