Bail for the sailors was paid by the company Split Ship Management because they believe Loris Subat and Dusko Tanurdzic are innocent.
Loris Subat and Dusko Tanurdzic, Croatian sailors who spent four months in detention in Panama were released at their own reconnaissance, the Split Ship Management agency, the company that hired them, confirmed to us.
The company said they expected such a turn of events because they believe the sailors are innocent.
- We expected such a decision from the Panama court because we trusted our sailors and we hired a law company there – Ratko Bozic said, adding they would continue to help the sailors who are defending themselves from freedom.
The sailors were arrested after eight kilograms of drugs were found on their ship.
The Split Ship Management company paid the sailors’ bail and the condition is that they turn up in court.
The company also organised the families of the sailors to go to Panama.
