A ladies darts team claim they were thrown out of its league because one of their members used to be a man.
The Colliers B ladies side says they have been thrown out of the Cheslyn Hay Women's League in England's East Midlands because Melanie Partlow - a team member of two years - used to be a man.
Although an official has admitted: "Some women do find [Melanie] a bit off-putting," the official reason has been cited as the Colliers B team taunting teams with abusive language.
However, team captain Leanne Gardiner, 29, disagrees, saying: "It's obviously prejudice against Melanie. They said there had been a vote by ten of the 12 teams in the league and they didn't want us in it."
"Melanie is feeling awful as it's pretty clear that it's down to her. It's disgusting what's happened."
