Death Toll Rises in U.S. Helicopter Crash in Italy

The helicopter crashed on Thursday in a grassy field near the city of Treviso.

A sixth U.S. military person has died from his wounds after a U.S. army Black Hawk helicopter crashed in northern Italy with 11 people on board, a hospital spokesman said on Friday.

The helicopter, which according to media reports was on a training mission and had taken off from a U.S. military base in Italy, crashed on Thursday in a grassy field near the city of Treviso. The cause of the crash has yet to be established.
