Karadzic’s capture is good news for The Hague Tribunal and very positive for the new cabinet of Serbia, said the EUFOR spokesman.
The European military forces in Bosnia-Herzegovina (EUFOR) welcomed the arrest of fugitive Radovan Karadzic.
- Karadzic’s arrest is good news for The Hague Tribunal and very positive for the new cabinet of Serbia – said the spokesman of the EUFOR, Keri Korket.
- The EUFOR will continue to hunt the other two fugitives, Ratko Mladic and Goran Hadzic – said Korket.
Karadzic’s capture came after months of frequent search operations in the Radovan Karadzic’s family in Pale and the houses of Karadzic’s war security guards. Also members of the EUFOR and NATO in Bosnia-Herzegovina took part in these operations.
