European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said on Friday he hopes all EU governments respect a deal on reforming EU institutions.

European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said on Friday he hopes all EU governments respect a deal on reforming EU institutions reached in Brussels last week.

"Naturally I expect all governments to respect the agreement that they themselves unanimously reached a few days ago," Barroso told reporters after Poland said it plans to reopen a debate on the EU treaty deal.
