Suspected separatist militants attacked a paramilitary patrol in gas-rich Baluchistan province.

SOUTH WAZIRISTAN - A suspected U.S. drone fired two missiles into Pakistan's South Waziristan region on the Afghan border, killing three foreign militants and wounding one, two Pakistani intelligence agents said.

BALUCHISTAN - Suspected separatist militants attacked a paramilitary patrol in gas-rich Baluchistan province and eight militants and three soldiers were killed, the province's paramilitary force commander said.

MOHMAND - Eleven militants were captured in a raid in the Mohmand ethnic Pashtun tribal region in the northwest, a paramilitary spokesman said. It was not known if the militants had fled from a military operation in neighbouring Khyber.
