Fish, Powder In Package At U.S. Homeland Security

FBI spokeswoman Kate Schweit said: `A DHS employee recieved a package with dead fish, and white powder.`

 A package containing a dead fish and white powder prompted a brief evacuation at offices of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security on Friday, the FBI said.

FBI spokeswoman Kate Schweit said authorities responded to "reports that a DHS employee had received a package with dead fish and a white powder" at department offices in downtown Washington.

While local police and fire departments secured the area, a response team removed the package and took it to a lab for testing, Schweit said.
