The bodies of children from the ages of 4 to 11 were found in a secret chamber the police calls ‘the punishment cell’.
The former children’s home in Jersey, known as the “house of horrors” revealed another gruesome secret, the bodies of five more small children who sought shelter there in the 1960’s, British The Guardian reported.
The bodies of children from the ages of 4 to 11 were found in a secret chamber the police calls ‘the punishment cell’.
The police are in possession of evidence that more than 160 children had been abused in the infamous Haut de la Garenne home from the end of the 1960’s to the beginning of the 1970’s.
After evidence came out about 65 children’s teeth thrown around the home, as well as more than a hundred bones, the police dismissed suspicions of the possible suicides of the children who could no longer take the abuse.
A 68-year-old man was apprehended and taken into custody in April where his connection to the abuse at the Haut de la Garenne is being investigated. But no information about whether he is guilty or not have been leaked to the public, most probably to prevent other perpetrators to flee before being processed.
