David Duke arrived in Prague at the invitation of a neo-Nazi group to hold lectures and present his book.
The former leader of the Ku Klux Klan, David Duke, was arrested in Prague on Friday afternoon. He was released during the night with orders to leave the country on Saturday, Czech police reported.
Duke arrived in Prague at the invitation of a neo-Nazi group to hold lectures in Prague and Brno and present the Czech translation of one of his books.
The book “My Awakening” contains parts that negate the holocaust, police spokesman Jan Mikulovski said.
David Duke, 59, has been charged with supporting a movement aimed at jeopardising the respect of human rights and basic freedoms. After he was arrested in a Prague restaurant, he was questioned by police for several hours.
