The German company EON delivered 2.7 million cubic metres of gas and Hungary another two million. Gas from Russia is still expected.
The director of Serbia’s gas company Srbijagas, Dusan Bajatovic, has said he expects Russia to begin delivering gas to Serbia by Friday night, Serbia’s Press Online reported.
According to Bajatovic, 2.7 million of cubic metres of gas from the German EON company and two million cubic metres of gas have already been delivered to the country. He stressed that the delivery to individual users has begun.
With the secured amounts of gas from abroad and domestic reserves, most individual users will get gas, Bajatovic said.
He added that there was still no natural gas for factories.
Srbijagas on Friday appealed to citizens and distributors to prepare installations for a safe supply of gas.
