About 400 rail workers in several cities had staged a one-day strike over pay and conditions this week.

German rail unions and railway operator Deutsche Bahn [DBN.UL] agreed on a wage deal for the company's employees on Saturday, averting the threat of more strikes for commuters, sources close to the talks said.
