Iran says talks with P5+1 next month
Salehi told the official Iranian Republic News Agency Wednesday a site for the discussions with Russia, China, France, Britain, the United States and Germany will be decided in the next few days.
Salehi made the statements shortly after Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Tehran to discuss the issue and ways of boosting bilateral cooperation between the two countries, the agency said.
The Islamic Republic has held two rounds of talks on its nuclear program in 2010 and 2011.
During the two-day visit Erdogan will meet with President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and other senior Iranian officials, the Turkish daily Today's Zaman said. The talks with the Iranian president are also expected to touch on the situation in Syria and Iraq, the daily said.
The daily noted Iran is seeking to expand cooperation with Turkey despite sanctions imposed by the West.
TEHRAN, March 28 (UPI) -- Talks over Iran nuclear program are set to resume April 13, Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi said.
