The official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said senior Israeli defence official Amos Gilad `will be briefing the prime minister.`

Israel's prime minister, foreign minister and defence minister will make "decisions" about a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip after getting a briefing on Thursday night about talks in Cairo, an official said.
