The Croat member of Bosnia and Herzegovina's collective state presidency, Zeljko Komsic, decided on Monday to leave the Social Democratic Party (SDP), Bosnian media said citing sources in the party.
Komsic, who serves as vice-president of the SDP, walked out a meeting of the party's Presidency on Friday after it backed the agreement on constitutional amendments reached with the two strongest Bosnian Croat parties, the HDZ BiH and the HDZ 1990, and with the Alliance for a Better Future. He told the media that the proposal denied the rights of ethnically undeclared citizens to be elected for government office. (Hina)
