Komsic Thanks Iranian President For Support

Thank you for your support and help during the war, Komsic said to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.

During a meeting with Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in New York, Bosnia-Herzegovina Presidency Presiding Zeljko Komsic thanked him and the people of Iran for their support during war in BH.

He pointed out that USA and Iran were the countries that decidedly supported NH and that are still doing it today in an appropriate manner.

As it was announced from Komsic`s office, he informed the Iranian president on current events in BH and pointed out his country’s sound commitments towards EU and NATO membership, with numerous efforts and new reforms preceding, including the BH Constitution, with which BH will transit from the Dayton stage to the European stage of development.

-Iranian president thanked for the meeting, said that Iran stood by BH during the hardest moments and that it will remain its friend. He rejoices that despite troubles, BH is advancing on its part towards strategic goals. He pointed out that our path towards EU and NATO can last for a long time, that inner cohesion needs to be improved in the meantime, as well as unity within the county, economic foundations of the society need to be constructed in order for BH to endure all transition challenges until it enters Euro-Atlantic integrations. Iran understands and supports BH`s path into EU, it remains open, developing versatile relations with BH and still helps our country, above all, through strengthening economic relations and ties between nations- it was stated in a press release from Komsic`s office.
