Nothing will change in the formal or legal sense, but citizens will react in their own way, they say in Banja Luka.
The issue of Kosovo’s final status should be solved in a calmly, without tensions and large words by politicians, experts or the media, says Nebojsa Radmanovic, chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Still, a third of Bosnian citizens are emotionally tied to Kosovo and its possible independence could manifest itself on them, he added.
-- I, thus, call on everybody to sit at a table, negotiate and find a quality solution that will offer stability to the entire region – Radmanovic said.
RS: Kosovo’s independence will not change anything
In their first statements, officials of the Bosnian Serb entity of Republika Srpska say Kosovo’s independence will not change anything.
-- Nothing will happen to Republika Srpska in the formal and legal sense if Kosovo gains independence, said Igor Radojicic, president of the RS People’s Assembly, Dnevni avaz writes.
Bosnia-Herzegovina, but also Republika Srpska, have their constitutions, but one cannot say that citizens will not view Kosovo’s independence and react in their way, he said.
