Man Held Over Fatal Stabbing At Petrol Station

A 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a 19-year-old outside a petrol station in northwest London last Thursday night.

Police said the man was arrested in the Harrow area on Sunday on suspicion of murdering Kul Hawadleh who died from a single stab wound to the chest in Wealdstone.

A second 19-year-old man who was also stabbed in the incident is said to be in a stable condition.

"We understand that a group of four or five black males had observed the victims putting petrol into their car from across the road, shortly before 19:30," police said in a statement which appealed for witnesses.
