Police searching for a missing teenager have found a body near a railway track, a spokeswoman said on Saturday.
Officers searching for 17-year-old Natasha Coombs discovered a body on Friday night, a mile from the London side of Manningtree station, Essex, in undergrowth next to the railway line, Essex Police said.
The body, discovered at about 7.30 p.m. BST, had not yet been formally identified.
A post mortem is being carried out.
Coombs, 17, of Dovercourt, Essex, vanished after boarding a late night train from Ipswich on July 27 after a night out with friends.
There have since been no confirmed sightings of the teenager.
