Albanian National Unity Front, an organisation with the goal of uniting territories with mostly Albanian population, announced that The Hague defendant at large Ratko Mladic was being treated for tuberculosis and that the organisation`s intelligence officers were looking for him, Serbian Blic daily reports.
The Front stated in its report, dating to January 4, that Mladic was hiding in the mountains near Kumanovoc last autumn, “masked as a shepherd of 300 sheep” and has “managed to save himself from five supreme officers” of Albanian National Security (ANB), an organisation which serves as the Front`s intelligence service.
According to the announcement, the “best prepared and most loyal ABN officers” in Belarus managed to discover where Mladic was hiding.
The Front also wants Mladic to “answer before The Hague Tribunal and the Front`s Supreme Court for crimes over the Albanian people in Kosovo and for the murder of honorary president of the Front Uksin Hoti”.
“The Front`s game and the game of its organs with the international investigation organs (UN, EU, USA, NATO) continues and we shall see who will win – the Front and its organs or those from The Hague and other international institutions”, the announcement published online, reads.
