Mother, Brother Cut Girl Open and Removed Foetus

At the time the 14-year-old girl was cut open by her mother and brother with a scalpel and took her foetus out, she was 5 months pregnant.

The mother and brother sliced open a 14-year-old girl’s abdomen with a scalpel and took out the foetus she was carrying, the BBC reported. 

The girl was allegedly raped and her own family sliced her open without any use of anaesthetic whatsoever.

Docrots say that the girl is in critical condition. The man who raped her has been apprehended. At the time her mother and brother decided to do surgery on the poor girl, she was five months pregnant. She was taken to hospital only four days later.

It is considered shameful for a girl in Afghanistan to admit that she has been raped because the public suspects she consented to the sexual relations, which is illegal unless it took place within wedlock. The police have started a search for the girl’s mother and brother.
