Twenty-three people burned to death when a bus collided wih a truck.
LAGOS, December 14, 2009 (AFP) - Twenty-three people burned to death when a bus carrying mourners to a funeral collided with a truck on a road in southwest Nigeria, police said Monday.
Killed were the 18 people in the bus travelling to the funeral in Okeho city, as well as five others in the truck that was hauling planks, Oyo state police spokesman Makun Abodunde told AFP.
Both vehicles burst into flames, burning their occupants, he said.
