Ninth Arrest In Post Office Murder Probe

Five men and three women were arrested on Tuesday.

Police said on Wednesday they had arrested a ninth person in connection with the murder of a sub-postmaster's son during an armed robbery in Worcestershire. The woman was detained in Birmingham on Tuesday evening on suspicion of helping an offender.

Five men and three women were arrested on Tuesday.

Four of those are being held on suspicion of murder and attempted murder, four for helping an offender.

Craig Hodson-Walker, 29, was shot dead at the post office and general store in the village of Fairfield, Worcestershire, on Jan. 9. His father Ken, 56, was shot in the leg and remains in hospital.

The Post Office has offered a reward of 50,000 pounds for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
