No Full Turk Withdrawal From Iraq-Turk Army Source

There is no full withdrawal of forces from northern Iraq, a senior Turkish military source said.

Some Turkish troops have returned to bases in Turkey after completing their duties but there is no full withdrawal of forces from northern Iraq, a senior Turkish military source told Reuters on Friday.

"Inside Iraq there are still Turkish soldiers and at the moment there is no complete withdrawal," the source said, shortly after NTV private broadcaster reported the eight-day Turkish ground offensive against Kurdish PKK rebels was over.
